What are the Ingredients of a Peeling Gel?
The ingredients list of a peeling gel usually contains “acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer” or sometimes listed as “carbomer”.
This is causes the gel to form up upon friction. Most peeling gels also contain fruit enzymes that can help detach loose dead cells and help with the exfoliation to some degree.
How does it works?
After washing your face, apply a small amount of gel to dry skin, gently rub the product, peeling gel will form a film and thicken into balls. The “balls” or “rolls” you see as you rub the gel into your skin are mostly formed by the product itself.
